As the Short Form Video Editor at Scaling with Systems, you will be the creative force behind our engaging, high-impact video content across multiple digital platforms. Your role is pivotal in crafting compelling stories through video, driving audience engagement and brand presence. You will harness your editing skills and creative vision to produce dynamic short-form content that resonates with our audience, playing a key role in our company's digital narrative and success.
What You Will Be Doing
- Design engaging, visually appealing thumbnails for YouTube, adhering to brand guidelines to boost click-through rates.
- Use design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software to create thumbnails.
- Conduct A/B testing of different thumbnail designs to determine the most effective visuals.
- Stay updated with YouTube's best practices and emerging design trends.
- Work closely with video editors to ensure alignment between video content and thumbnail design.
- Provide regular updates and communicate efficiently using tools like Slack and Asana.
- Participate in regular meetings with various departments to understand needs and priorities.
- Monitor performance metrics of thumbnails and report to the relevant team regularly.
- Maintain high quality and consistency in all thumbnails, revising as needed.
What You Bring To The Table
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on YouTube thumbnail design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar design software.
